Our Quest
Our company was founded in 1999 and took the name Capplon in 2003. At that point, the focus on in-house developed software was solidified. The name Capplon is a combination of the words Customer Application On Net, which describes the connection to customer-centered products developed with the .NET framework.
The first comprehensive data system was delivered in 2007. The system, evolving into the transport management system TrafficBizNet®, already had features that were far ahead of its time. For example, vehicles were equipped with connected touchscreen computers, and billing was fully integrated with the business system. As a reference, this was the same year the world’s first smartphone was launched.
